Die Geisteswissenschaftliche Pädagogik war die einflussreichste Richtung in der wissenschaftlichen Pädagogik in der Weimarer Republik und dann erneut und noch durchschlagender nach 1945 in der alten Bundesrepublik. Ihren Vertretern gelang es, die Pädagogik als eigenständige Wissenschaft zu begründen und über Jahrzehnte hinweg die pädagogischen Diskurse - nicht nur in Bezug auf Schule, sondern |

auch auf Erwachsenenbildung und Sozialpädagogik - zu prägen. Bis heute vielfach verwendete Begriffe - wie etwa pädagogischer Bezug - wurden durch sie grundgelegt. Das Lehrbuch gibt zunächst einen biographischen Überblick über die Hauptvertreter der geisteswissenschaftlichen Pädagogik, zeichnet im Hauptteil erstmals alle pädagogischen Themenbereiche im systematischen Zugriff nach und gibt schließlich einen Ausblick auf die Rezeption der geisteswissenschaftlichen Pädagogik ab den 1960er Jahren. |
