Wissenschaftseinrichtungen gelten zunehmend als Motoren gesellschaftlicher Entwicklung. Der Auseinandersetzung mit der produktiven Integration des Konglomerats »Wissen« in Prozessen der Stadtentwicklung kommt daher eine hohe Aufmerksamkeit zu. Kerstin Fröhlich setzt sich mit dem Trend der wissensbasierten Stadtentwicklung auseinander und analysiert AkteurInnen sowie Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten in Governance-Prozessen auf kommunaler Ebene. Ihre differenzierte Betrachtung von Chancen und Herausforderungen ist sowohl für die Praxis als auch die jüngere Diskussion in der Stadtforschung höchst relevant. |
