Stadtentwicklungspolitiken und Planungsprozessen sind Aushandlungsprozesse zwischen Akteuren und Interessen meist schon fest in der Konstruktion von Raumpolitiken und -programmen verankert. Unter dem Begriff "Governance" wird dieser Modus des Aushandelns als Marke "guten Regierens" gern verwendet. Die damit verbundenen Ansprüche an Partizipation - nicht nur der institutionalisierten, sondern auch der bisher kaum artikulierten Interessen sozialer Gruppierungen - bringen soziale Praktiken hervor, die die Entwicklung des Sozialraums oft stärker beeinflussen, als die öffentliche Steuerung. |
Insgesamt lässt sich zum hier besprochenen Sammelband sagen, dass es den Verfasserinnen und Verfassern gelingt, in vielgestaltiges und dynamisches Themenfeld politischer Steuerung der (lokalen) Raumordnung darzustellen, aufzu-bereiten und für eine darauf aufbauende politik- ebenso wie sozialwissenschaftliche Reflexion nutzbar zu machen.
