Il existe tres peu de travaux faisant le point de maniere approfondie et comparative sur les constitutions qui encadrent les regimes politiques contemporains de l'Afrique francophone, soit vingt-trois pays. Par ailleurs, l'impact indeniable des agencements constitutionnels sur les evolutions politiques et l'importance attachee aujourd'hui par la communaute internationale et par les opinions publiques a un constitutionnalisme considere comme l'une des principales sources de la consolidation democratique donnent toute sa pertinence a ce livre. |
