|
A discussão acerca da importância formativa da extensão universitária intensificou-se, nos últimos dez anos, na academia e no Conselho Nacional de Educação (CNE), culminando com a Resolução Nº 7, de 18/12/ 2018/CNE, que estabeleceu as Diretrizes para a Extensão na Educação Superior Brasileira e a curricularização da extensão. Impulsionado por essa movimentação, com o objetivo de produzir reflexões e socializar compreensões, o livro Extensão Universitária na UFFS: trajetórias, alcances e desafios é fruto de trabalho coletivo de docentes, discentes, técnicos administrativos e comunidade regional, desenvolvido ao longo do I Seminário Integrador de Extensão da UFFS, realizado em 2016. O foco central é a sistematização de experiências de projetos e programas desenvolvidos na UFFS, advindos das ações extensionistas, considerando a relação indissociável com o ensino e a pesquisa, num revigor mútuo, contribuindo e gerando reflexões para a discussão vindoura da curricularização na UFFS. Assim, a essência da obra não pode ser apreendida fora deste movimento que implica a relação práxica, desde a concepção de extensão produzida e defendida pela UFFS, uma instituição pública e democrática que nasceu no seio das lutas sociais e se substancia das relações comunitárias e extensionistas. |
