Du Maroc au Yémen en passant par le sud de l'Algérie, par la Tunisie et un arrondissement de Paris, les études réunies dans ce cahier s'attachent à l'espace quotidien. Elles montrent comment, dans sa diversité, celui-ci s'articule à des temps eux-mêmes divers : les rythmes de l'existence la plus ordinaire et des moments plus exceptionnels. Avec, éventuellement, en arrière plan, la durée où s'expriment et se modèlent les changements culturels et sociaux. Les auteurs ne perçoivent pas de façon figée les rapports de la tradition et de la modernité auxquels ils sont confrontés à différentes échelles. Ils essaient plutôt, en mettant au jour le poids des ajustements et des résistances, d'en saisir la complexité et le caractère dynamique. |
