|
Die zentralen Stellgrößen im Rahmen der strategischen Unternehmensplanung sind die Produkt-Markt-Strategie, die Technologiestrategie, die Organisationsstruktur und die Unternehmenskultur. Jeder dieser vier strategischen Aktionsparameter verfügt über alternative Ausprägungen. Das Ziel der strategischen Unternehmensführung muss es sein, diese Ausprägungen sowohl untereinander (Konsistenz) als auch mit der Unternehmensumwelt (Kongruenz) in Einklang zu bringen. Solche widerspruchsfreien Konfigurationen werden auch "Gestalten" genannt und sind die Grundlage einer effektiven Gesamtunternehmensstrategie. Robert Wittmann entwickelt einen Entscheidungsrahmen, der als praktische Gestaltungshilfe für die strategische Unternehmensführung dienen soll. Die Konzentration auf Industrieunternehmen am Anfang ihres Lebenszyklus bietet dabei die Möglichkeit, die Gesamtunternehmensbetrachtung beizubehalten und zugleich ausreichend konkrete Erkenntnisse zu sammeln. Zu diesem Zweck werden zunächst die alternativen idealtypischen Ausprägungen der vier strategischen Aktionsparameter herausgearbeitet. Im Anschluss separiert der Autor sukzessive die konsistenten von den inkonsistenten (Teil-)Konfigurationen unter Berücksichtigung des Zielkonflikts |
