|
Faire de la musique un objet géographique ne signifie pas seulement reconnaître en elle un nouvel outil d'analyse des espaces ou un moyen d'agir sur ces derniers. En nous appuyant sur les démarches antérieures menées dans le champ des sciences sociales, nous postulons l'irréductibilité de l'objet musical à une seule dimension disciplinaire. Nous lui attribuons une interdisciplinarité située, territorialisée, mise en tension par les logiques contradictoires entre ancrage local et mondialisation, temps courts et temps longs, perspectives normatives et/ou descriptives, dynamiques créatives... Cadrées par des approches culturelles différentes, les propositions rassemblées dans cet ouvrage rendent compte d'une dynamique collective à l'œuvre. Un réseau scientifique en construction met aujourd'hui en relation la géographie de la musique avec l'urbanisme, la sociologie, les sciences politiques, l'anthropologie, la philosophie ou encore les sciences de la communication. Ensemble, ces disciplines nous invitent à considérer la musique dans les espaces, lieux et territoires qu'elle produit et consomme. Invitation au dialogue, cet ouvrage tente également de relier les productions francophones et anglophones. Il espère ainsi participer à une vision collective et ouverte des recherches sur le phénomène musical. |
