El presente trabajo estudia las relaciones entre la Continuatio de la Crónica de Alfonso III en su versión a Sebastián presente en el manuscrito 57-1-16 de la Biblioteca Capitular, Institución Colombina, de Sevilla, con la existente en el manuscrito 9880 de la Biblioteca Nacional, único testimonio de esta Continuatio hasta ahora conocido. Dado que se trata de un texto muy cercano al Cronicón de Sampiro, el |

trabajo estudia igualmente sus relaciones con las versiones conocidas de este texto. Finalmente presenta la edición crítica del texto y su traducción. Este estudio forma parte de los Proyectos de Investigación FFI2008-01843 del Plan Nacional de I + D y del P09-HUM-4534, Proyectos de Excelencia de la Junta de Andalucía (FEDER-FSE). Además, queremos dejar aquí constancia pública de nuestra gratitud al Prof. Ricardo Martínez Ortega por sus atinadas correcciones y sugerencias, que sin duda han mejorado el trabajo. Cet ouvrage présente une comparaison entre la Continuatio de la Chronique d’Alphonse III dans sa version à Sebastien issue du manuscrit 57-1-16 de la Bibliothèque capitulaire de Séville, et le manuscrit 9880 de la Bibliothèque Nationale d’Espagne, seul témoignage de cette Continuatio connu jusqu’ici. La version que nous livre le manuscrit inédit de Séville étant très proche du texte du Chronicon de Sampiro, l’auteur étudie aussi ses relations avec les versions connues de cette dernière œuvre. L’ouvrage comporte, enfin, une édition critique et une traduction de la Continuatio. |

Born in Selingenstadt, Memling (1430/40-1494) left his native Germany to settle in Bruges in 1465, where the death of his supposed teacher, Rogier van der Weyden, left a near absence of competition.
