Que mangent les enfants à l'école ? Quelle place occupe la cantine ? Que se passe-t-il pendant la récréation ? Comment les enseignants transmettent-ils des savoirs nutritionnels ? Quel rôle jouent les industriels de l'agroalimentaire dans l'alimentation scolaire des enfants ? Qu'en disent les médias ? Autant de questions auxquelles ce Iivre apporte des réponses précises issues de plusieurs enquêtes en sociologie et sciences de l'information et de la communication dans différents établissements scolaires. Les auteurs montrent comment se fabrique au sein de l'école l'idée, portée par les pouvoirs publics, de « se nourrir bien ». Ils interrogent les professionnels de l'école (cuisiniers, enseignants, animateurs, directeurs), les enfants, les parents, ainsi que les promoteurs des politiques publiques nutritionnelles (état, collectivités locales, médias). Ce livre jette un regard neuf sur une question sociale centrale l'alimentation des enfants. Outre l'étude des discours médiatiques, communicationnels, éducatifs, il regarde ce qui se joue en cuisine, à la cantine, en classe, pendant les goûters ou la récréation. Il montre que si une politique publique nutritionnelle à destination des enfants à vocation à leur apprendre à « bien manger », cela ne va pas de soi. Elle dépend des contextes d'interactions à l'école, selon les différentes scènes sociales (cantine, salle de classe, cour de récréation), des appartenances sociales, ou des dynamiques entre école et parents. |

|
Against the backdrop of Covid-19, this edited volume will utilize a gendered lens to explore the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a clear focus on challenging the omission of sexuality in relation to the SDGs as well as analyzing the ways in which the SDGs are also equally relevant for Western countries. While acknowledging the importance of these goals, contributors unpack the exclusion of marginalized genders and sexualities as well as how popular media and social media contribute to the wider understanding of issues of gender and sexuality and the SDGs. This volume also dispels assumptions about the irrelevance of SDGs to countries in the West, with a particular focus on the UK.
