La Filosofia teoretica di Solov´ëv raccoglie tre articoli apparsi tra 1897 e 1899 sulla rivista moscovita Questioni di filosofia e psicologia diretta da Lopatin, amico d'infanzia dello stesso Solov´ëv. Questi articoli verranno successivamente indicati come i primi tre capitoli della «filosofia teoretica» e costituiscono il primo passo, l'impetus di un intero sistema della metafisica, rivolto a coloro che esigono il rigore del pensiero e sono capaci di uno sguardo intellettuale o speculativo. Solov´ëv pone qui in stretta connessione il problema gnoseologico e quello ontologico, esponendo l'identità della domanda sull'essere e di quella sulla verità attraverso l'interrogazione sulla natura ontologica del male. |
