Das interdisziplinäre Lehr- und Forschungsprojekt SocialSIM erschließt den Bereich des erfahrungsbasierten Lernens für die universitäre und schulische Lehre. In einem Mikrokosmos lässt sich das Zusammenwirken menschlicher Handlungsweisen beobachten und verstehen. Das Simulationsspiel SocialSIM nutzt diese Eigenschaften einer sozialen Simulation für die Lehre, indem es gleichzeitig Spielfeld und teilweise kontrollierte Forschungsumgebung ist. Das Buch beschreibt das Simulationsdesign und die Ereignisse des Simulationstages und es werden Einblicke in die Lehre und die studentische Forschungspraxis gegeben. Schließlich werden die Erfahrungswerte aus dem Projekt und die Möglichkeiten für eine weitere Nutzung von sozialen Simulationen aufgezeigt. Das Buch richtet sich an Lehrende aus dem universitären und außeruniversitären Bildungsbereich, die sich für Simulationen und Planspiele interessieren. Auf der Grundlage des Simulationsprojekts SocialSIM, das 2014 den Instructional Development Award der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg gewonnen hat, geht dieses Buch auf die Potentiale und Herausforderungen von sozialen Simulationen für die beteiligten Fächer Ethnologie, Soziologie und Politikwissenschaft ein. |
