|
Поэма «Бенёвский» (1840–1846) великого польского романтика Юлиу-ша Словацкого (1809–1849) – признанный шедевр польской поэтической классики, вершинное художественное достижение романтизма и безусловно лучшая и знаменитейшая из поэм Словацкого. Имя знаменитого авантюриста XVIII в. Мауриция Августа Бенёвского (ок. 1746–1786), описавшего свои бурные приключения в прославивших автора и выдержавших в его время около 20 изданий на разных европейских языках «Дневниках» (Лондон, 1790), стало названием поэмы. Однако это – один из элементов романтической иронии, игры автора, наполняющего текст многочисленными и разнообразными «лирическими отступлениями», с читательскими ожиданиями. В книге публикуются пять первых «песен» незавершенной поэмы, вошедших в прижизненное издание (Париж, 1841). Автор перевода поэмы – выдающийся отечественный филолог-полонист Борис Федорович Стахеев (1924–1993). |
