d'expression et de création plastique, non seulement à des enfants mais aussi à des adultes (en difficulté psychiatrique, de dépendances, en prise avec des problèmes alimentaires, etc.) ou à des personnes âgées (en établissement). À travers un double examen, Francis Loser porte un regard renouvelé sur ces pratiques. Privilégiant, d'abord, une approche phénoménologique en tant qu'observateur participant, il s'est immergé dans trois lieux afin d'appréhender, in situ, la vie singulière qui se développe dans ces ateliers. Il a ainsi pu constater que le recours au langage symbolique et poétique, l'importance du jeu, les rituels, le silence partagé apparaissent comme autant d'indicateurs des phénomènes caractéristiques de ces ateliers, tant au niveau de la personne que du groupe. Dans un second temps, l'auteur a noué un dialogue serré avec trois praticiennes (récits d'intervention et entretiens d'explicitation) qui a permis de repérer et d'analyser les compétences et habiletés professionnelles déployées par les « animatrices d'ateliers de création ». Les résultats de cette recherche accréditent l'idée que la médiation artistique constitue un outil professionnel particulièrement bien indiqué pour favoriser le développement personnel et le lien social. Les professionnels des domaines santé-social - art-thérapie, psychomotricité, éducation sociale, etc. - trouveront dans cet ouvrage matière à alimenter leur réflexion et à penser leurs pratiques. |
