Our current understanding of public support for (or reluctance towards) advances in European integration sorely misses the role of the media. The media play a crucial role in the intersection between citizens and politics, but in the context of European integration, we only have limited knowledge about how they cover European issues and what the effects are on public support for and legitimacy of advances in European integration. |
