Mit dieser Einführung wird das komplexe, auf verschiedene Schriften und Forschungsphasen verstreute kunstsoziologische Werk Bourdieus chronologisch und systematisch verfolgt. Florian Schumacher beleuchtet die wichtigsten Einflüsse der Bourdieu'schen Kunstsoziologie und damit die AuseinanderSetzungen Bourdieus mit Sartre, Foucault und Panofsky. Besonderes Augenmerk legt er auf Bourdieus frühe Untersuchungen aus den 1960er-Jahren zu ästhetischer Wahrnehmung und Klassenzugehörigkeit sowie auf die darauffolgende Konzeption eines Feldes der Kunst, auf dessen Geschichte und auf aktuelle Entwicklungen. |
