• Sommario/riassunto: Als 1970 Henri Lefèbvres »La révolution urbaine« (»Die Revolution der Städte«) erscheint, ist die Stadt als komplexes Phänomen vor allem soziologisch untersucht worden. Lefèbvre hingegen definierte die Stadt als »Œuvre« - als Ausdruck menschlicher Kreativität, die im Laufe der Entwicklung an Authentizität verloren hat - und charakterisierte die Verstädterung als dialektisch ablaufenden Prozess mit unbestimmtem Ausgang. Fernand Mathias Guelf zeigt, dass die Verbindung von Revolution und Urbanisierung - als »strategische Hypothese« und Perspektive - für die Hoffnung auf eine neue Qualität des menschlichen Zusammenlebens steht.; »Es ist das unbestreitbare Verdienst des Buches, eine Vielzahl von Schriften Lefèbvres herangezogen zu haben, die [...] zumindest in der deutschsprachigen Auseinandersetzung mit seinem Schaffen kaum eine Rolle gespielt hatten. • Sommario/riassunto: This paper provides a detailed summary of Côte D’Ivoire’s National Development Plan for 2016–20. The plan aims to develop Côte d’Ivoire into an emerging market economy with a strong industrial base and to reduce poverty. Specifically, the plan calls for greater agricultural output, promotion of the manufacturing sector, and improvement in the standard of living. Steps will include modernization and improvement of public administration, better education and social services, a healthier business climate and access to credit for small and medium-sized businesses, and major road and energy infrastructure projects.
