Le défaitisme et l'inertie qui caractérisent depuis peu la jeunesse camerounaise sont les principaux défauts que l'auteur reproche à ses jeunes compatriotes. Mais eux qui ne trouvent plus de gêne à tout mettre sur la tête du gouvernement et à se définir comme les victimes sont aussi les principaux acteurs du changement qui fera de leur pays une nation comme ils en rêvent. Pour l'auteur, les jeunes doivent être auteurs d'une révolution qui leur permettra de prendre en main la gestion de la cité.
