L’étude présentée par Jod Vital permet de disposer, pour la première fois, d’un ensemble de vestiges Je l’âge du Bronze dans la moyenne vallée du Rhône. S’il n’a été possible d’observer ni l’organisation de l’habitat ni la stratigraphie du site de la Baume des Anges, qui couvrait à l’origine la période comprise entre le Chalcolithique et le Bronze final 3b, en revanche, la systémisation de l’analyse des produits, essentiellement céramiques et métalliques, a permis d’établir leur datation et leur identité géographique. Le traitement statistique des données a indiqué des nippons géographiques soutenus avec l’Italie du Nord au Bronze ancien et un Bronze récent ainsi qu’avec les régions nord-alpines au Bronze final.
