This book analyzes the issue of European fiscal State aid in order to provide insights into the related evolution prospects and legal problems. State aid has assumed a central position in the field of taxation, becoming the most important instrument of European legal integration, especially in the area of direct taxes. This is the result of major regulatory and interpretative development, which has altered the initial European and national balances in the face of globalization and the problems of the new economy. In this context, the scope and objectives of State aid have progressively broadened, encompassing a significant level of both positive and negative integration of European national tax systems. |

Long description: Aus den Alsterdorfer Anstalten in Hamburg sind im Nationalsozialismus über sechshundert Kinder und Erwachsene mit Behinderung in Zwischenanstalten und Tötungsanstalten der Euthanasie abtransportiert worden. Über fünfhundert von ihnen sind ermordet worden. Die Vorgeschichte beginnt mit der therapeutischen Aufbruchstimmung Ende der 1920er Jahre. Auch in Alsterdorf war man von der Idee ergriffen, den Schwachsinn mit allen Mitteln zu heilen. Diejenigen, die man nicht mehr heilen konnte, wurden dabei frühzeitig zu hoffnungslosen Fällen degradiert. Die Zustimmung zur Rassenhygiene, die Beteiligung an den Zwangssterilisationen und |

schließlich die Abschiebung der jüdischen Anstaltsbewohner 1938 waren weitere Schritte auf einer schiefen Ebene, auf der es kein Halten mehr gab. Am Ende standen die Transporte in die Tötungsanstalten und die Vernichtung lebensunwerten Lebens. Die Autoren haben je aus ihrer Sicht diese Geschichte aufgearbeitet. Im Vordergrund stehen dabei die Schicksale der Opfer: Menschen mit Behinderung, deren Lebens- und Leidensweg zum Teil bis in die Tötungsanstalten verfolgt wird. Die Verwicklung der Medizin und der Theologie wird anhand der Porträts des damaligen Anstaltsdirektors Pastor Friedrich Lensch und des Oberarztes Dr. Gerhard Kreyenberg dargestellt. |
