Schleiermacher gilt als Klassiker der Hermeneutik. Sie entfaltet die Regeln kunstgerechten Verstehens von Sprache und Schrift. Dabei verschränkt sie das Arsenal 'philologischer' Methodik mit einer 'psychologischen' Interpretation, die über den Rekurs auf die Intention des Autors zugleich übergreifend nach Sinn und Bedeutung fragt. Die Hermeneutik vermittelt mithin im Verstehen von Sprache zwischen dem Allgemeinen der Vernunft und den Besonderheiten des Lebens. Die Beiträge des Bandes erkunden Schleiermachers Hermeneutik in ihren verschiedenen Dimensionen - erstmals auf der Basis der neu erschienen Kritischen Edition. |
Schleiermacher is regarded as a classical hermeneutist. Hermeneutics extended the arsenal of “philological” methodology to include “psychological” interpretation, which drew upon the author’s intention to question meaning and significance. The essays in this volume explore the multiple dimensions of Schleiermacher’s hermeneutics, based for the first time on the newly published critical edition. |
