Aujourd'hui, le sport ne manque pas d'interroger ceux qui sont en charge de l'éducation sportive en milieu scolaire et périscolaire, dans les clubs, ainsi que leurs partenaires : médecins du sport et (ou) de l'enfance, agents Jeunesse et Sports, élus politiques... En plaçant l'USE 1998 sous les auspices de Nelson Paillou, trop tôt disparu, et en mettant au programme le thème d'une enfance du sport à réinventer, les responsables de l'UNCU et de l'USJSF ont joué intentionnellement sur les deux perspectives sous-jacentes : l'histoire des débuts du sport et la prime histoire de l'individu... Ils avaient pour objectif de se donner les moyens de définir les conditions requises pour que cette enfance sportive soit une étape et un lieu privilégiés d'élaboration d'une conception de l'homme libre et responsable : un humanisme sportif en jeu. Et non point un humanisme... déjoué, et se trompant sur l'essentiel. |
