• Sommario/riassunto: The Florentine University offers the first tool for consulting and enhancing its documentary heritage with the Inventory Guide of the Historical Archive. The Inventory Guide concerns in particular the documents relating to the central administration, starting from 1860 foundation of the Royal Institute of Higher Practical and Advanced Studies until 1960, and the funds of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, formerly the Chancellery of the Studies of S. Maria Nuova and the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, formerly a Section of Legal, Philological and Philosophical Studies. Part of the funds of the remaining Faculties, kept in the Historical Archive of the University, are also described.
