Sommario/riassunto

RSP Workshop discusses the fast development of systems and focuses on techniques that will produce high-quality software and hardware systems through original combinations of modeling, design techniques, testing methods, and validation principles. RSP 2006 covers technologies as diverse as software systems, reconfigurable computing, and custom hardware applied to applications ranging from aerospace to telecommunications systems and from military to commercial systems. The paper topics reflect the continued evolution of the field. The program includes recent advances in software prototyping,

hardware prototyping, hardware/software co-design, design methodologies, and advanced simulation. RSP also looks to accelerate the advancement of the theory and practice of rapid system prototyping both in traditional and new areas of computer system development.
