This report offers a contribution to the debate on energy, mainly approached from the point of view of the research to be carried out to meet the successive challenges that will arise in the coming decades. The role of science in this debate is to identify the avenues of research that will make it possible to face the growing need for energy, by discerning in advance the major scientific problems that will have to be overcome at the cost of a sustained effort. |
