This book argues that light manufacturing is appropriate for a resource-based country like Zambia. While Zambia's recent growth has been impressive, it has not been accompanied with adequate job creation. Long-term job creation in copper production is very small; links to the rest of the economy tend to be weak as well. Besides, the development of natural resources tends to discourage job-creating sectors such as manufacturing. To be sustainable and to create productive employment for its people, growth needs to be accompanied by structural transformation. Such transformation entails a growing |

In Advances in Entomopathogenic Nematode Taxonomy and Phylogeny the numerous species of Steinernema and Heterorhabditis described since the previous volume, published in 2007, are evaluated and discussed. Valid species proposed from 2007-2015 are covered in detail, each taxon having an illustrated diagnostic description and additional data on molecular characterisation, distribution and biology, etc . An addendum gives brief details of species proposed during 2016. An overview of the taxonomy of the two families provides an up-to-date list of species for both genera, including new synonyms and detailed commentary on specific status where appropriate. Quelles sont les relations entre les deux genres complexes, variés et changeants que constituent les romans grecs anciens et la poésie, épique, lyrique, dramatique, d’époque archaïque, classique, hellénistique ? Ce recueil de dix-sept articles, issus d’un colloque tenu à Nice en 2013, ouvre à nouveaux frais ce dossier. Au-delà des influences et intertextualités, quatre domaines sont étudiés : lien entre images et figures poétiques et romanesques ; jeux de références, lectures, réécritures ; effets de rythme et jeux de structure ; roman comme poésie et poésie comme roman. Chaque aspect fait l’objet d’approches à la fois théoriques et appliquées, présentant un état des lieux critique et proposant des perspectives renouvelées, voire des interrogations originales. Sont ainsi abordés l’évolution de la prononciation du grec à l’époque impériale, le rapport description/narration et l’ekphrasis , la métaphore et la fiction, la relation des romanciers anciens à la tradition rhétorique voire scolaire, le roman épique ou tragique et la poésie romanesque, ou encore les liens avec la littérature latine. Enfin, ce sont les relations entre théorie littéraire contemporaine et réflexivité ancienne, ainsi qu’entre littérature générale et philologie classique, qui sont ici réinterrogées. |
