The book inaugurates the Institute's new collection, Les Cahiers de l'Ifpo. This first edition of the Cahiers de l'IFPO is devoted to shared spaces and practices of meeting in Lebanon, without predominating, in our eyes, in the notions of sharing and meeting, the positive or neutral character of one, the value pooling or division for the other. Through this recourse to an ideal metaphor that links space and practice, different forms of relationships and social links are presented here, according to various scales but as close as possible to situations of sociability, since the use of the mobile phone and condolence visits to “inter-community” relations within a company or in the Lebanese Mountains. |
