Giving, taking, giving, lending and inheriting - processes of transmission are as complex as the relationships that manifest them. The study looks at the modes of exchange and mutual perceptions of mother-daughter couples through their everyday clothing practices. Based on conversations, family photos and observations in front of wardrobes, she traces the vestimentary experience horizons of two generations of women.
