Die Person (als Name für Zerstreutes im Umfeld des Subjektproblems) wird sozial zur Entfaltung bestimmt: Sie wird geformt (sozialisiert, diszipliniert, subjektiviert) – und muss sich zudem, parallel oder widerständig zur Formung, »selbst« entfalten, eigensteuern, individuieren, authentifizieren.Joachim Renns Studien zeigen: »Selbstentfaltung« als »Ausdifferenzierung« kann die Grundfigur einer pragmatistischen Soziologie des »Subjektiven« in der Gesellschaft sein. Das zentrale theoretische Problem ist dann das Verhältnis zwischen allgemeinen Formen der Genese subjektiver Selbstverhältnisse und der historisch-gesellschaftlichen Varianz des Ineinandergreifens und Auseinandertretens von Subjektformaten und subjektivem »Selbstbezug«. |
