|
How does intangible heritage affect the notion of heritage? Is the heritage recognition of local specificities reconcilable with a global context of homogenization? How to build a distanced knowledge on a conflicting and recent memory? Are documentary and digital mediations reduced to a role of conserving or illustrating heritage? Do they not ensure the continuity of the social memory of lost heritage and the renewal of society's heritage practices?The book addresses these questions through the issue of the relationship between storage and heritage. This point of view characterizes the French and Brazilian researchers who have come together to make visible a field of research which is transversal to them and for which the heritage novelty lies in the renewal of the conception of the production of heritage through the place given to the memory. |
