The theme of this book is the cultural formation process of the young members of the Mário Lago settlement, built through the struggle of workers' families that form the mobilization base of the Movement of Landless Rural Workers, MST, in the city of Ribeirão Preto-SP, self-named "national capital of agribusiness", due to its national and international projection through the complex of economic activities linked to the context of agro-industrial production. The analysis developed in the work assumes young people as subjects of the processes opened by the political struggle around the land and interlocutors of the groups with whom they live, configuring their conscience before what they experience in their daily lives. In addition, it identifies the ethical-political references built with the community and with the MST, |
