The book establishes meeting points between History and Communication, analyzing the recent trajectory of these two areas in order to identify their possibilities for convergence. It also indicates, on the other hand, the need to pay attention to the differences therebetween, without representing necessarily an irreversible antagonism. Privileging the History of the Present Time and the Theories of Communication, the book stresses the importance of dialogue between historians and communication theorists.
