The theme of this book is the work of the renowned Pernambuco artist Francisco Brennand, with a focus on his ceramic sculpture - his process of conception and realisation, as well as the relationship of sculpture with the other languages and techniques worked by the artist. In addition to investigating various biographical aspects relevant to the understanding of Brennand's production, the author studies the various techniques employed by him in drawing, painting, murals and ceramic sculpture, bringing to light characteristics that permeate his entire work and constitute a "Brennandian style". |
