Le modèle de développement qui recherche le profit maximum en un minimum de temps se trouve désormais interpellé, voire remis en cause par les impératifs du développement durable. Ce dernier ne peut en effet s’accommoder que du temps long, surtout lorsqu’il s’agit de préserver les ressources naturelles. En se proposant de sortir du débat classique et souvent stérile qui oppose environnement et entreprises, préservation et rentabilité, cet ouvrage a pour vocation de s’interroger sur les dynamiques existant entre firmes, environnement et territoires.
