|
Audio films enable blind and visually impaired people to enjoy a feature film. An audio film consists of the original audio track of the film and the audio description. This film description compensates for the video track of the film. It is therefore a purely auditory media text. Translation studies consider the work of audio descriptors as an intercodal translation process and as a part of audiovisual translation. Maher Tyfour examined the concrete implementation of audiodescription on a corpus of image translations for the Munich Tatort series. His focus was on the city's staging. By comparing them with the original video tracks of the feature films, he illustrates the intertextual relationship between original and translation. In the analysis he identifies the strategies of the audio descriptors that are partly unconsciously implemented in the translation process, explains them and discusses them in terms of text and translation studies. Maher Tyfour studied English at the University of Damascus (Syria) before coming to Germany in 2009. After completing his master's degree in Intercultural German Studies at the Georg-August University of Göttingen, he earned his doctorate at the University of Hildesheim. He works as a teacher of English and German as a second language in Saxony. |

Biopolymers including natural (e.g., polysaccharides, proteins, gums, natural rubbers, bacterial polymers), synthetic (e.g., aliphatic polyesters and polyphosphoester), and biocomposites are of paramount interest in regenerative medicine, due to their availability, processability, and low toxicity. Moreover, the structuration of biopolymer-based materials at the nano- and microscale along with their chemical properties are crucial in the engineering of advanced carriers for drug products. Finally, combination products including or based on biopolymers for controlled drug release offer a powerful solution to improve the tissue integration and biological response of these materials. Understanding the drug delivery mechanisms, efficiency, and toxicity of such systems may be useful for regenerative medicine and pharmaceutical technology. The main aim of the Special Issue on "Biopolymers in Drug Delivery and Regenerative Medicine" is to gather recent findings and current advances on biopolymer research for biomedical applications, particularly in regenerative medicine, wound healing, and drug delivery. Contributions to this issue can be as original research or review articles and may cover all aspects of biopolymer research, ranging from the chemical synthesis and characterization of modified biopolymers, their processing in different morphologies and hierarchical structures, as well as their assessment for biomedical uses. |

Cet ouvrage éclaire d’un jour nouveau la spécificité du royaume de Valence dans l’Espagne des Habsbourgs du début du règne de Philippe II aux Cortès de 1626. Après avoir brossé le panorama des institutions valenciennes, Conseil d’Aragon, Audience, vice-roi, gouverneurs, bailes généraux, maestre racional, l’auteur étudie les carrières de l’ensemble des officiers et des agents ayant exercé leurs fonctions dans cet appareil. Il rompt ainsi avec une tradition prosoprographique qui consiste à séparer les individus d’un même corps ou d’un même groupe professionnel. Cette approche novatrice permet de procéder à une analyse comparative des modalités des carrières des officiers du royaume de Valence. En outre, l’étude des liens de parenté de ces officiers royaux met en évidence les différentes modalités d’insertion dans des réseaux de solidarité qui dépassent le cadre institutionnel valencien. Cette étude, qui ouvre des voies méthodologiques nouvelles, constitue une référence indispensable pour la nouvelle historiographie |
