L’alternance est un modèle de formation consistant à associer théorie et pratique, de manière à faciliter la circulation des savoirs entre lieux de formation et lieux d’exercice professionnel. Or, souvent, dans leur mise en œuvre, situations de formation et situations professionnelles alternent sans que soient réellement pensées les conditions d’articulations entre elles. L’objectif de cet ouvrage est précisément d’interroger les conditions de mises en œuvre de l’alternance en vue de tendre vers une formation professionnelle des enseignants davantage intégrée. Les travaux de recherche présentés, menés dans des cadres théoriques divers (didactique disciplinaire, didactique clinique, clinique de l’activité, anthropologie culturaliste, théorie sociocognitive des apprentissages), permettent d’appréhender l’impact des dispositifs de formation par alternance à la fois du point de vue des stagiaires et des formateurs. Ils visent, pour une partie d’entre eux, à mieux saisir ce qui se joue pour les stagiaires en termes de continuités et de ruptures dans leurs expériences des différents lieux et temps de la formation professionnelle. D’autres, en se centrant plus particulièrement sur l’activité des formateurs, mettent en évidence les difficultés qu’ils rencontrent pour s’engager dans un travail collectif de formation. Finalement, cet ouvrage suggère de dépasser le principe d’alternance et de repenser la formation des enseignants à partir du principe de continuité. |
