Für die Umsetzung von gesellschaftlich notwendigen Transformationsprozessen wird Bildung eine Schlüsselrolle zugeschrieben. Mit den Konzepten Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) und Globales Lernen wird der Anspruch verknüpft, zu globaler und sozial-ökologischer Gerechtigkeit beizutragen. Dass sich die Praxis dabei auf grundlegend unterschiedliche – und umkämpfte – Transformationsverständnisse bezieht, arbeitet diese qualitative Interviewstudie heraus. Transformation wird als Bildungsprojekt und Bildung als Feld und Strategie von Transformation thematisiert und analysiert. Deutlich wird, dass Globales Lernen/BNE immer als verwoben mit bestehenden Macht- und Herrschaftsstrukturen verstanden werden muss, wenn sie einen Beitrag zu einer kritisch-emanzipatorischen Subjektbildung leisten will. |
