Ce manuscrit du XIVe siècle s'appuie sur des récits et des paroles maintes fois rapportées pour exalter la noblesse de lignage des tribus de Qahtan. L'éloge de l'ancienneté de ces Arabes du Sud dans l'arabité et dans la foi, et la relation de leurs hauts-faits servent la dynastie rassoulide dans sa quête de légitimité en tant que descendante des fils de Qahtan. تستند هذه المخطوطة من القرن الرابع عشر إلى الروايات والأقوال التي قيلت مرارًا وتكرارًا عن تمجيد نبل نسب قبائل قحطان. إن مدح أقدمية هؤلاء العرب الجنوبيين في العروبة والإيمان، وسرد أفعالهم العظيمة تخدم سلالة الدولة الرسولية في سعيه لشرعيته كأحد أبناء قحطان. |
